Walnut Board

Hand forged nail driven in the kitchen mantle.  Hanging within reach. Very often we'll find it holding a steaming loaf of yeasted bread.  Breaking open the crumbs fall on the table.

Details:

• One of our last pieces of walnut from Comer, GA. Walnut has a beautiful contrast between the sap wood and heart wood as you can see in the tan stripe down one side.  We carved a ring handle and charred it black with fire to emulate years of use.
