Hickory Board

A friend called us several years ago when a hickory tree needed to be removed from his uncle's property.  This tree was a beauty.  We had our Sawyer come out and mill it on site into slabs which we've been air drying for the past 5 years.  From that tree comes this big, beautiful piece.

Large at 13" wide, it could be a serving board, pizza slab or cutting board for dinner.  Hickory is one of our favorite woods, it is so beautiful and It is surprisingly heavy.
